Step 1: Search for the Strix app
At First, Connect your FireStick device with Wi-Fi and then go to the search menu from your home screen and type Strix’. This can be done through the on-screen keyboard that will be provided to you. You can also get the desired results by using the voice command.
Step 2: Get the app by pressing the ‘Get’ button

Step 1: Enabling basic configuration to make way for Strix
- Firstly, go to settings from the Firestick home screen.
- Go to the ‘My Fire TV option’.
- Select ‘Developer Options’
- Enable the ‘Apps from Unknown Sources option by simple clicking on it (if only it is disabled or off).
- Now, there will be a prompt that will pop up on your screen. Select ‘Turn on’.
Step2: installing the Downloader app
- Go to the ‘Find’ option from the home screen
- Click ‘Search’ and type ‘Downloader’
- From the popped-up results, select the Downloader app.
- Click‘Download’ or ‘Get’ on the next appeared window
- Wait for the app to complete installation.
Step3: Using the Downloader app to install Strix
- Hold the Home key of your Firestick remote for 5 seconds and then from the pop-up window, select ‘Apps’.
- Select and open the Downloader app.
- Dismiss any prompts that pop up.
- Now, you should be able to see a URL box where you have to enter the URL https://bit.ly/38a2Z1E
- After entering it, select ‘GO’.
- Scroll down and select the Strix icon.
- Then, select Download Installation File.
- Wait for some minutes while the Strix APK is being downloaded.
- Select ‘Install’.
- Wait again for the Strix app to finish installing.
- Select ‘Done’ when the installation is successful.
- Now, we will have to get rid of the APK file, which is no longer needed. First, select Done in order to return to the Downloader interface. Then select Delete. Select Delete again to confirm your action.

How to access Strix on Firestick
Once you have installed the app, you may or may not see it on your home window. If you don’t then simply follow the below steps.
- Select ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Applications’
- Select’ Manage Installed applications’
- Select the ‘Strix’ app
- And lastly, select ‘Launch application’
- Once you open or launch the Strix app, you will see a prompt asking you to allow access to your photos, media, files on your Firestick device. Select ‘Allow’.
- Now, comes again the code activation part. Enter the code and then select ‘Submit’.
- Set up your parental control ( trust me you will be requiring it because they have it) and then select ‘OK’.

Moving the Strix app to the home screen.
If you want to move the Strix app for convenience to the home screen then,
- From your Firestick remote press the ‘Menu’ button.
- Select the ‘Move’ option from a menu displayed on the lower right side of your screen.
- With the help of the arrow or up-down button move the app to the spot you prefer. Remember if you want the Strix app to be displayed on your home screen then move it within the top 3 rows.
- To release the app icon, press the ‘Select’ button from your remote.
